In partnership with the company Re.green, we carried out automated planting with drones on 5 ha in the region of Eunápolis (BA). 23 forest species were used in the planting.
Re.green is a leading company in ecological restoration in Brazil and invited Ceres Seeding to participate in a pilot project on one of its farms. The project aimed to demonstrate the potential of our technology to bring greater scale to the restoration chain and, consequently, to Re.green.
To execute the project, the Ceres Seeding team carried out the initial mapping of the area and prepared the schedule for all planting missions. The seeds used were selected by Re.green, and our team also adjusted our dispersal device to precisely meet the mission requirements. This demonstrated the efficiency and versatility of our operation and our planting device.
